Every other feature of these Krink wood sets is nice…except for the color. Certainly not a Russian Red…more like a bit nicer AK 74 orange to brown under light. I may keep & refinish myself to more proper red as advertised? Not sure…. William

The handguards were perfect as usual this is my second set of akmsu handguards I ordered I'm in the process of trying to get some to fit my sam 7 sf and my sam 7k wish it was just pop right on but having to sand and cut some of the wood to fit on my arsenals for this beautiful wood is worth it
