Well its a good thing that I decided to only order one and got the metal reinforced feed lip variant, because the bakelite material around one of the feed lips has a pretty large crack. Mag wasn't exactly in great shape either but can't complain too much as it still functions for now. For the money it's not a great deal considering the condition mine was in, you can find NOS mags or very clean used ones for the same price elsewhere.

Best-looking 7.62 "bakelite" that I've ever seen

This magazine is in extremely good condition: no visible rust on the baseplate, follower, or the metal locking lugs. The feed lips are metal-reinforced and the nearby bakelite material is undamaged. Most metal-reinforced bakelites have torn-up bakelite material on the feed lips above the follower, but not this one! Perfect for my needs, which include 2-gun competitions and carbine matches. I noticed that this bakelite had a richer reddish color compared to the other bakelite I recently ordered from Alex. Color varies significantly between magazines but the quality is top notch.

Very nice condition and the price was on par with other sellers. Only other sellers don't have bakelites in this kind of condition. I was impressed. Shipping was fast and the communication was also top notch.
